Terms and Conditions for Users

1. Introduction

Welcome to Health Bridge (‘the company’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’), a company registered in Bangladesh in March 2019. The user (‘you’, your’) is reading this “Terms and Conditions” (‘T&C’), because you are visiting the company owned website www.healthbridgebd.com, hereinafter referred as ‘website’, and/or using company’s services through the website and/or its application software named HB Prescription (‘App’) in either Android, iOS, Microsoft platform. The same services of the App will also be available in our website as web-version and can be used by any browser that supports the version of our software.

Please read this T&C carefully before clicking the ‘I Agree’ button. By clicking this button while downloading the App, you are agreeing to this T&C fully and are bounded by its terms and conditions. Do no click the ‘I Agree’ button, if you are not agreeing with any of the terms and conditions.

2. Copyright Information

Copyright of the website and the App belongs to the company. We, along with our subscription holders, solely own, control and reserve the rights to all the materials, content, intellectual properties of the website and the App.

3. The HB Prescription App and its Web Version

Health Bridge is a company which strives to provide service to the heath sectors of Bangladesh. The HB Prescription App and its web version is its first endeavor to provide services to the doctors for writing prescriptions digitally. The patient users will also be able to see their prescriptions in the same App. The company believes that it will create a strong bonding between doctors and patients, and it will ease their services substantially. This App is for professional doctors only with valid licenses to practice by the Government of Bangladesh. The patient users can only be referred by doctor users. The App will also have a practice version for the medical students (future doctors) with limited activities. Any unauthorized usage of the App will be considered strictly illegal. The using of the App service will only be on subscription basis.

4. User Restrictions

1. Any person who is using the website or the App must be 18 years of age.
2. The App strictly provides services to the people living in Bangladesh having a valid mobile phone number.
3. By agreeing this T&C, you are restricted to sell, lease, rent, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the App.

5. Website Using Policy

As a website browser, you are free to view our website, download pages from our website, print pages from our website subject to other provisions of this T& C. You are authorized to use the website only for your personal use and you are not authorized to use the website for any other purposes.

6. App Subscription Policy

1. The App has three types of user subscription; they are:
   1. Medical Physicians (Doctors)
   1. Medical Students
   1. Patients
2. Your mobile phone number will be used as your unique license/account number with the company.
3. One user may have multiple user type accounts under one mobile phone numbers strictly bounded by the company policies:
4. With the match of phone number, e-mail and name, a user should be allowed to have multiple accounts. The app asks which account to join in the start-up page only for the users having multiple accounts.
5. Doctors can have multiple accounts; but students and patients CANNOT have multiple accounts as same users; multiple accounts for cross users are permitted.
6. Graduated students can upgrade their account from student account to doctor account under the same account.

d. Users Eligibility:

1. A Doctor user must be a legal medical practitioner of Bangladesh having a license to write prescriptions to the patients.
2. A Student user must be a medical student in any registered Medical Colleges of Bangladesh.
3. A Patient user must have at least one prescription registered in the App generated by a Doctor by the App to subscribe the App.
4. Any false information provided by the user during registration is regarded as illegal by law and company has the right to take legal actions against the user.
5. A doctor user can be a patient user, a patient user can be a doctor user, a student user can be a patient user, a patient user can be a student user as long as every user information are absolutely correct.
6. Each account as multiple users require separate subscription.

7. Payment and Refund Policy

1. All payment for subscription are made through the App in company’s bank account. However, users having no bank account may pay the subscription amount via cash deposit to Company’s bank account.
2. Subscription of the App will only be advance for a period of time as mentioned in the App.
3. Company has the right to change the subscription amount (higher or lower) without any notice to the users. However, the advance payment for an advance period will not be adjusted (escalated or deescalated) for the users.
4. All payments are made through bank transfers in company account. Company will not receive any payment vide cash.
5. Users are not entitled to refund any amount paid as subscription fee to any user if the user deliberately wishes not to use the App on his own choice. However, if the company seizes the App on its own wish, or company goes bankrupt, or company closes business, or company changes business, company is bound to give refund to the users the advance amount paid to the company from the point of the closer of the App. In such cases mentioned in this clause, the company will make the refund within 60 days of discontinuation of the App.

8. Privacy Policy

1. Personal Information and Security

Registration as user of the App requires personal identification information such as email, mobile phone number, etc. along with your official name that can be used to identify you or contact you. We give highest priority to protect your personal information provided through our App via internet. However, you must understand that no method of transmission in the internet, or digital storage, is fully secure. We will give our highest effort through the commercially available software, through reputed internet security providers to protect your personal information and your generated data through our services, but we cannot guarantee its complete security.

• Cookies

Website may require you to allow ‘cookies’, files with small amount of data to collect information such as giving you unique identifier. Cookies are sent through the website and stored in your device’s storage. ‘Cookies’ can be stopped by you by instructing your browser for refusing cookies to be sent; however, in such case, you may not be able to use few areas of our website or App, or you may lose data speed using our App or website.

• Log Data

We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website or App. This is called Log Data. We collect this log data, such as your browser name, browsing time and date, browser version and other statistics to improve our site. We may also utilize third party’s analytical tool that collect and analyze the abovementioned information. This is required for continuous betterment of the services for you.

• Promotion and Marketing

Company may use your personal contact information to contact you through email, mobile phone, social media, etc. to promote business of the company via sms, notifications, email, newsletter etc.

9. Using data for research

The company reserves the right to use data, generated by the users, for any research purposes and reserves the right to sell this data to any non-profit research organization or to the Government of Bangladesh for better understanding of the medical sector. However, company shall not, under any circumstances, provide any personal data, company, organization, institution or brand name of any product stored in the data.

10. Disclaimer

The company announces that the data contained in this site or App is for a specific purpose as it were. The data is given by Health Bridge and whereas we endeavor to keep the information up to date and rectify, we make no representations or guarantees of any kind, express or inferred, almost the completeness, precision, unwavering quality, appropriateness or accessibility with regard to the site or the data, items, administrations, or related illustrations contained on the site for any reason. Any dependence you put on such data is in this manner entirely at your claim risk. In no occasion will we be at risk for any misfortune or harm counting without restriction, backhanded or consequential misfortune or harm, or any misfortune or harm at all emerging from misfortune of information or profits emerging out of, or in association with, the utilize of this site or App. Through this site you’re able to connect to other websites which are not beneath the control of the company. If any clauses of the T&C is judged illegal, unlawful and/or unenforceable by a court of Bangladesh, the judgement of the court will continue in effect. You may check the legitimacy of the company anytime through our website such as our trade license, bank details, official address, tax identifications, etc.

12. Amendments of T&C

The company reserves the right to change, amend this T&C and you should check this T&C periodically. The last version date of this T&C will be always be mentioned on the top of this document.
